01  The Vision of Allen Lee

Founder Allen Lee graduated with a Mass Communications degree from the National University of Malaysia. He began his career as an Education Counselor, where he coached school leavers in carving the right academic path that would lead to their individual successes. It was during this tenure that he realised he could impact more lives by harnessing the value of education.

The Early Years
Allen began PEOPLElogy as Jiwa Asia Technology Sdn Bhd in 2001 with the noble vision of inspiring one million lives through integrated people development solutions.Initially offering a programme under the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK), he grew his corporate clientele by organising various courses ranging from Information Technology (IT) to Youth Development and Entrepreneurship.By 2012, he changed the company name to PEOPLElogy Development Sdn Bhd with five staff under his leadership.
The Transformative Years
In 2014, Allen travelled to the United States and visited Zappo. It was there where he was inspired by the late American internet entrepreneur and venture capitalist Tony Shieh to create a fulfilling work environment.Allen saw this as an epiphany to create a more productive and positive working environment in PEOPLElogy.When he returned to Malaysia, he implemented this value shifting concept and expanded the company to have 17 employees. He also opened a branch in Penang in October 2016 and a branch in Johor Bahru in November 2016.
The Digitalisation Years
In 2018, Allen Lee launched PEOPLElogy Digital, having been inspired by the need to digitally transform his organisation based on his trips to Tsinghua University in Beijing, ESMT in Berlin, and Silicon Valley Academy in San Jose.That same year, PEOPLElogy was appointed by Yayasan Peneraju to conduct Big Data programmes for talents and professionals looking to upskill and reskill.In 2019, he launched PEOPLElogy’s proprietary L&D app, PEOPLEAPS. He also launched PEOPLE 4.0, a learning community app for IR 4.0. Allen later bagged the prestigious Best Employer Award from SOBA and also won the “Mover & Shakers” on Asia HRD Award.
The Community Building Years
In 2021, Allen partnered with Fusionex Group to create Build a Future Team and conceptualised the SME Growth Series app MiLEAPS – the learning app for individuals.That same year, he signed an MoU with PERKESO and expanded his community building initiatives by organising 6 Talents Talk Shows, 1 Talents Tech Forum & 1 Talents Summit. He also conducted 6 SME Growth Series & 2 SME Connect sessions.In 2022, he launched SKILLSTURE, short for “Skills of the Future”, a microlearning live streaming mobile platform focused on preparing youths and professionals in mastering in-demand skills of the future.
The Success Years
In 2024, Allen formed a strategic partnership with Fishcamp Learning, PMIMY, and Johor Skills to offer more opportunities for talents and professionals to upskill and reskill.Between 2023 and 2024, Allen bagged numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to the people development industry.Among his most notable achievements include winning the Grand Platinum Award for the Elite Entrepreneur of the Year at the SOBA 2023 Awards. He also won Gold for the HR Leader of the Year at the HR Excellence Award 2024. Additionally, he won Leader of the Year at the HR Vendors of the Year 2024.As of 2025, he is leading over 100+ PEOPLElogists with the long-term mission of impacting 10 million lives through digital workforce transformation.
