Job Responsibilities

1. Risk Management Framework Development and Implementation

  • Develop and implement the organization’s risk management framework in alignment with Bursa Malaysia’s regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain risk management policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Ensure integration of risk management practices into strategic planning and operational processes.
 

2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks to the organization.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.
  • Facilitate periodic risk reviews to ensure timely identification and management of emerging risks.
 

3. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia’s risk management and corporate governance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit risk-related reports to the Board of Directors, Risk Management Committee, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and update the organization’s policies and practices accordingly.
 

4. Reporting and Communication

  • Prepare comprehensive risk management reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to the Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors on the organization’s risk exposure and mitigation activities.
  • Act as the primary liaison for risk management matters with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
 

5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster a risk-aware culture by conducting training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure consistent application of risk management practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams in identifying and mitigating risks.
 

6. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and recommend improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing risk management processes using industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Benchmark the organization’s risk management practices against industry standards.

Job Requirements

1) Experience

  • Min 5 years in risk management, preferably in the service, solution, training and education provider industries.
 

2) Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market or ACE Market Listing Requirements and corporate governance standards.
 

3) Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
