Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and ensure sufficient funding for operations.
- Support in the preparation of annual budgets and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation.
- Review and ensure accuracy in payroll processing, tax submissions, and statutory filings.
- Supervise junior finance staff and provide guidance on accounting processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data collection.
- Support finance-related projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
