Training Manager

Job Overview:
The Training Manager plays a pivotal role in all training, coaching, and development initiatives that directly or indirectly contribute to the fulfillment of the organization’s vision while being guided by its core values. This includes overseeing the Training and Development department, managing and developing internal trainers, and collaborating with other units to support external trainers’ development. The Training Manager will be working closely with the Product Innovation, Brand Owners or other Shared Services Department to ensure that training programs are managed, developed and deployed without compromising the quality promised to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Training Program Development:
- Design, develop, and implement training/coaching programs that align with the organization’s vision and core values for stakeholders.
- Ensure that all training initiatives are integrated with the strategic goals of the organization and support the unique needs of each brand.
- Collaborate with the Product Innovation team to adopt new products into training programs, ensuring that the quality of training is consistent with the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support for Product Innovation and Brand Owners, ensuring that new products are effectively introduced and supported.
2) Training Delivery & Quality Management:
- Oversee by working with other units on the delivery of training programs across all brands, ensuring that all training meets the high standards of quality expected by the organization.
- Facilitate training sessions as needed and provide support to internal and external trainers to ensure consistency in delivery.
- Implement quality assurance processes to evaluate and continually improve training effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and values.
3) Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of internal trainers and work closely with other departments to support external trainers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster the professional development of the training team.
4) Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Product Innovation team and other departments to ensure that new products are effectively integrated into training programs.
- Support Brand Owners by providing the necessary training resources and expertise to ensure product success.
5) Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, new training methodologies, and technology advancements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance training offerings across all brands, ensuring that training remains competitive and aligned with the latest best practices.
6) Reporting & Evaluation:
- Track and report on training metrics, ensuring that the effectiveness of training programs is continually assessed and optimized.
- Analyze data to assess the impact of training on the fulfillment of organizational goals and make data-driven decisions for future improvements.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Certification in training and development (HRDC TTT certified and Accredited)
- Proven experience in training and development, with at least 3-5 years in a management role within a training provider company or similar.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training technologies (LMS, e-learning platforms, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
