Leveraging Digital Transformation Through Microsoft

by Jaafar Mohamed

Representatives from PEOPLElogy Group were bestowed with the exclusive opportunity to attend a networking event held by Microsoft Malaysia titled “Microsoft Digital Government Summit” at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) on the 6th of December 2022.

Fellow PEOPLElogists, who were in attendance, had the rewarding opportunity to connect with industry professionals, government officials, and C-suite executives. The Microsoft-based event was also a productive platform to increase our brand awareness, as many attendees visited our booth at the networking venue.

Malaysia is on track towards becoming a digital-ready nation. With the implementation of the National IR 4.0 Policy and the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MDEB), we are preparing our nation and workforce to smoothly transition into becoming a high-income nation by accelerating digitalization in all aspects of the economy.

This Microsoft event is beneficial in assisting participants in gaining industry insights and staying current with the most recent trends, innovation initiatives, and major challenges affecting the public sector, particularly for public and government agencies to streamline their operations to leverage new technological needs and create a workforce that is digitally agile.

The event highlighted how government agencies can help government agencies to:

  • Improve organizational services.
  • Accelerate economic growth.
  • Reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure resiliency
  • Increased secure collaboration

It increased our awareness and equipped us with the knowledge of what courses, technological trends, and tools are in demand in today’s market to help us improve our collaboration efforts with government agencies and leverage on what’s important for our target audiences.

The event was not just for us but also for others to get to know more about our organization. This helps us in our mission to inspire one million lives throughout Southeast Asia.
